We are continuing to process Prospective Marriage visas, Temporary Partner visas and Permanent Partner visas. If your application contains all the required information, including health (Prospective Marriage visa and Temporary Partner visa only) and police checks, it can be processed faster.
Log into your ImmiAccount to make sure you (and any dependants included in your application) have provided all the required documents.
If you have applied for a partner visa, you may receive a phone call from us to get some more information to progress your application. This phone call may be outside normal Australian business hours. The phone call could come from any of our global processing offices.
Be aware of scammers who impersonate the Department of Home Affairs by phoning on our behalf. Our staff will always identify themselves before they ask you for any information.
Our staff will never ask for your:
- credit card information
- banking details
- ImmiAccount password.
